I am currently sipping a cran-vodka beverage (thank you for the Grey Goose, Uncle Matt!!) as I survey my preparation for the 8 month journey I begin tomorrow to Sydney, Australia.
For those not in the know, I have accepted a job with Animal Logic (www.animallogic.com) as a Digital Artist - Layout on the studio's 2nd CG feature length animated feature film, "Guardians Of Ga'Hoole." If this film title boggles your mind, go ahead and look it up on imdb -- it has the potential to be a very cool project.
My flight tomorrow (Wednesday) is scheduled to depart at 10:30pm, with an arrival time into Sydney at 6:15am on Friday. Basically, I will be skipping Thursday entirely.
This blog will serve as a posting ground for my adventures throughout my time in Australia. I should have many pictures to share and stories to tell, most of them detailing the embarrassing antics I produce overseas.
I hope to "promise" an entertaining ride.
